Hair Restoration Surgeries Consumer Alert from the International Society of Hair Restoration Society (ISHRS) states there is an increasing trend in patients undergoing hair restoration surgeries by non-doctors. In the most egregious cases, unlicensed persons are performing the entire hair restoration surgery. In other cases, what appear to be highly qualified doctors in other specialties are luring in patients with their credentials, and then hiring out to an outsourced team of non-doctors to perform the entire surgery. Patients later find out the esteemed doctor that they signed on with barely entered the operating room.

The ISHRS is extremely concerned about this practice.
